We do hope that all our players enjoyed the return of DGYO to more normal activities in the 2021-22 season. We're all going to have a well earned break now until the autumn. However we're already starting to plan for next season and we thought it would be good to let you know what we hope will happen in 2022-23.
Here are some dates for your diaries. You don't need to sign up now. We'll get in touch later in the summer to ask you to do that. But it would be helpful if you would note the dates now so that you can see what's coming up and can avoid any conflicts. Here goes:

1 October 2022 - rehearsal.

5, 12 and 19 November 2022 - rehearsals.

19 November 2022 - private concert for parents/grandparents after the rehearsal.

11, 18 and 25 March 2023 - rehearsals.

25 March 2023 - public concert after the rehearsal.

6 and 13 May 2023 - spring sessions of lighter music for new players and those in the midst of exams!
- And as a treat we hope to arrange a trip, probably to Glasgow, to hear a big professional orchestra playing in a concert. If we can arrange it this is likely to happen in either January or February.
