Dumfries and Galloway Youth Orchestra, (DGYO) is an orchestra for young musicians living, working or in education in the region.

Established in 2018, DGYO provides young musicians at all levels of experience with a wonderful opportunity to play in an orchestra with students from across our region and receive first class tuition and direction from experienced teachers and professionals.

The orchestra’s Musical Director is Jane Hainey, a professional violinist and for many years a member of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
